12th ANNIVERSARY IS HERE!

My favorite singer in the whole world, debuted officially in July 29th, 2005, with the band Boohwal.
In honor of it, one of the fan created a tribute video, composed from 2016-2017 pictures. Very lovely. And, in celebration of this day, Dong Ha is giving  "The Artist" concert. Normally, for the first 10 years, there were special meets with fans, every July. But, beginning last year, there are no such meetings; instead there is usually something else . This time it's the concert, and also on this day, the episode of Immortal Song2 is broadcast, with Dong Ha being one of the contestants.

Here is the pretty video, capturing the many facial expressions of my favorite singer (thanks김복희).
 This video, I am enjoying without the audio. Not that I don't like Dong Ha singing, of course I love it, but it distracts me from the images. It's like sometimes I prefer to close my eyes, instead of looking at one of his videos, and I only listen to the voice. Here, I really like the choice of pictures used, so pleasing to the the eyes.
  
                                                                                                          

Great performace at a concert 7-13-2017

This video is a little long because it consists of 3 songs, all in rock style. But it's so good, that I won't just cut it. I can't take my eyes off him, and vocally he is fantastic.

              
                     

TBT#12 Some favorite pictures from 2016

For this throwback Thursday, here are some of my favorite images from my 2016 collection, in random order.
My favorite pictures of Dongha are mostly taken by some excellent fans, either at concerts, or at encounters with fans. Very rarely professional photographers are able to capture his inner beauty, so I usually don't choose those professional photos. Only his dedicated fans, who have known, and followed him for years, are able to capture that special something. I once said that Dongha's face was not very expressive, but obviously I must take that back. Bad fan! Bad fan! Many pictures tell otherwise; he has many expressions. Usually, his face is full of smiles. I also like it a lot when he jokingly makes a very serious face sometimes. Like when he says a joke, and then pretends it wasn't him, or that he didn't really mean it to try to be funny. TBT# 11 - Rare capture of JDH wearing glasses

In the second half  of 2016, the Korean cast of musical Turandot went to China to perform, and  Dong Ha joined them too, as Prince Calaf. During that trip some crazy dedicated fan caught him wearing glasses. How cute and unusual. It was worth saving!
I keep wondering if anybody would recognize him, if he walked like this on the streets of Seoul.
(BTW, the photographer is famous "Snowman", one of the fantastic fans who take some of the most wonderful pictures of our beloved Jung Dong Ha)
